The Darkwatch

Overview

The Darkwatch is a small company of dedicated warriors with the shared goal of eradicating the Undead whenever they can. The origins of the company are not fully known, but as long as humans have inhabited the Azure Coast they’ve been actively fighting threats others would find terrifying. Because of this, Darkwatch Agents have a respected reputation, but their presence in a region causes fear among locals. Only a possible threat would bring a Darkwatch Agent to their towns and homes.

Kakudo

Overview

The Temple City of Kakudo, is home to the Jekkarene Empire, ruled by Empress Ihara the immortal Sorceress. It is a city built atop of an ancient marsh, supported by massive stone pylons with various bridges connecting the districts. Empress Ihara’s palace resides on a small hill overlooking the entire city from the northern end.

Jekkara

Jekkara is a region on the southern end of Brilanor, home to the Jekkarene people. The Jekkarene are a solitary people, preferring to do no trade outside of their realm. They primarily worship Empress Ihara, but also worship a variety of The New Gods, many of which are strictly forbidden in the Republic of Delmond. For this reason, trade from Jekkarra is highly restricted and the two empires remain at a tense peace with them.

Empress Ihara

The Immortal Empress of Jekkara. Very little information is known about her as travel from foreigners is highly regulated in Jekkara and the Immortal Empress rarely ever leaves her palace. It is said that she has nearly ascended into god-hood, and is attempting to complete her ascendency through dark magic.

Harmon Delmond

Harmon Delmond was the founder of The Republic of Delmond and a hero to the Sudorite people, and is also well respected among the Heldorian northmen. Born north of The Frozen Pass, he and his community struggled to survive in the frozen wastes. When they weren’t struggling to feed themselves, they were fighting and repelling constant attacks from the were-beasts that roam the land.

Occasum, 19th of Reylin

On the morning of her uncle’s funeral, Karaias spends the early morning with Spack at the Bastion harbor looking for additional evidence about where the missing cargo crate may have gone. Their search leads them to a previously undiscovered entrance into the Warrens. They begin their descent into the spiraling cave system with torches in hand.
