The Frozen Pass is a narrow gap between the Hayman Mountains that connects the frozen lands of Heldor to The Republic of Delmond. It is treacherous journey through the Pass, as rabid packs of were-beasts stalk the wilds in that area. Most folk looking to travel north or south often head toward the coast and travel by ship to avoid the dangers of this region.

Heldor
Heldor is a a generally cold country situated on the continent of Brilanor, north of the The Republic of Delmond . It is governed not by a king, but by the communal leadership of the few dozen clans that have sufficient influence. Because of their fractured method of ruling, their appearance, and their culture, many consider Heldorians to be barbarians living a cold harsh land.
Heldorians are light skinned peoples with an enduring attitude to match their hardy constitutions. They are generally taller and larger than the Sudorites to the south, and often have red, blonde, or brown hair.

From her hands the Spirit was born, and gifted to Hekata. As the Spirit was passed from one hand to the next, Ynera’s Hand a loving touch, and Hekata’s arms a warm embrace.

Structure
All Orders of the Temple of the Divine Trinity are governed by their own individual council of 5 known as the High Clerics. These High Clerics govern new methods of worship, commune with the Trinity, and organize the Orders to accomplish their main goal of ensuring that the balance between life and death remains intact. The High Clerics of each Order then delegate and promote others to various ranks and positions. The following are the titles available within the Order of Ynera, in descending order of rank:

Let this land be a symbol of liberty and peace, a bastion to the people and a sword to those who would take it from us.
Harmon Delmond
History
The Republic of Demond was formed on the 4th of Reylin, 2438 2E, near the end of the 2nd Era. After the plague of Were-Beasts from the North scattered the many tribes of Men from the region, Harmon Delmond led his people southward, escaping to what initially seemed greener pastures.
But despite the verdant valley, the lands were teeming with reptilian creatures only spoken of in myth. These creatures (now known as the Scale-Kin) attacked in an effort to repel the newcomers. Delmond knew he could not return north, so he militarized his people and waged a 2 year war against the Scale-Kin that would end in their removal from the land, pushing them southward into the swamps.
This victory marked the foundation of the Republic. For the next several hundred years, the Republic would grow to become one of the most successful societies of Men in all of Western Brilanor.
The Races of Men (Humans of Numinith)
Humans are by the far the most populous sentient species on Numinith. They procreate quickly and in great numbers, are clever, aggressive, and powerful when organized.
Said to be descendants of the Mortal Spirit that Ynera created before the War of the Heavens, Humans have formed wildly different cultures, societies, and values over the eras. As generations grew distant from one another, stories were lost, lies became truth, and what was once a singular people has since grown into warring factions. The gift from the Trinity is dimmest in the Races of Men, but is not yet fully extinguished.
Below are some of the more notable Human civilizations and cultures:

The Scale-Kin in Numinith are a rare sight among the civilized world. Once, their kind ruled over large swathes of land in the region that is now home to the Republic of Delmond. However, they were slaughered and displaced by Harmon Delmond and his people. What remains of them are now various tribes that inhabit the outer swamps, jungles, and forests of their ancestral homeland.
The two types of Scale-Kin, Lizardfolk & Ophidians (snake-like folk that often live side by side with Lizardfolk), are an intelligent but brutish species. They are clever enough to form tribes and pray to their ancient gods, but their inherent nature generally leads them to violence and aggressive action, even among their own kind.
